1.   Protection design and test on space environment effects for space products

Analyse  and evaluate space environment effects on satellite system, subsystem  and payload, especially for radiation effects. Assist to determine and  allocate design specifications, choose and test components, design  shielding structures and materials, perform verification test  for protection design.

2.   Analyse and test on space environment effects for R&D of space components and materials

Provide  analysis on space environment effect mechanism, process and  consequences for research and development of space components and  material. Assist to design and test components and material.

3.   Calibrate space environment and effects detection instruments

      Perform  calibration for detection instruments,such as for energetic  particles, space plasma, atomic oxygen, micro-      debris, total dose  effects, single event effects, surface and deep charging effects, atomic  oxygen erosion effects.
